Each of the 36 double-sided cards starts with a mini-lesson that explains in simple terms a problematic usage. Students then apply the concepts by selecting correct words for sentences.

The 18 troublesome words cards look at commonly confused words (i.e., its/it’s, good/well, fewer/less, lie/lay, who/whom). The 18 usage cards deal principally with pronoun and verb issues.
